Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Spark (“Spark”, “we”, “us”) for spark.dating, related apps, live events, matching, chat, and account tools (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account, joining an event, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Spark.

Spark provides scheduled online speed dating events and related matching for adults. We may operate invite-only, ticketed, or other access models. Listing an event does not guarantee you a seat.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. You represent that your date of birth and identity information are accurate. We may refuse, suspend, or close accounts that fail age or identity checks.

Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You may not share login credentials, create an account for someone else, operate multiple accounts to evade bans, or impersonate another person.

You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at sparkdating.th@gmail.com if you believe it was compromised.

Spark nights are live, timed events. Hosts may add, remove, mute, or otherwise manage attendees. If you cannot attend after being added, email sparkdating.th@gmail.com as soon as you can.

We may change event details, postpone, or cancel a night. Invite-only access may be withdrawn. We do not guarantee a particular number of dates, matches, or that any specific person will attend.

You must use a working camera and microphone, join from a private setting, and follow host instructions. We may deny entry if you skip required consent, fail a device check, or arrive too late.

Spark records the shared lobby and video dates — including your camera and microphone — for safety, moderation, and incident review. Recordings are not a public feed and are not given to other guests.

You must give explicit consent on the event page before you can enter the waiting room, lobby, or a date. If you do not agree, you may not participate in that event.

You may not record, screenshot, stream, or redistribute another person’s video, audio, profile, or chat without their clear consent. Doing so is grounds for immediate removal and a permanent ban.

Treat other guests with respect. Prohibited conduct includes harassment, hate, threats, sexual misconduct or pressure, nudity or explicit content, stalking, scams, fraud, illegal activity, and bringing others into frame to mock or harass someone.

We may remove you from an event, suspend your account, permanently ban you, retain evidence, and notify authorities if we believe you violated these Terms or put others at risk. We do not have to give prior notice where safety requires fast action.

You can leave a date at any time, unmatch, block, and report people (including from Account → Safety after you sign in). Reports are reviewed; we may not share the outcome with you in detail.

Matches form only when interest is mutual. In-app messaging is text-only between matched users. LINE, WhatsApp, and social handles you add are shown only to people you match with.

Spark does not guarantee matches, replies, chemistry, or any offline meeting. If you meet someone in person, you do so at your own risk. Prefer public places, tell a friend, and never send money, gifts, or financial details to someone you met on Spark.

We are not a party to any relationship between users and are not responsible for other users’ conduct online or offline.

You retain rights in your profile photo, bio, and other content you submit. You grant Spark a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and use that content as needed to operate events, matching, safety review, and the Service.

You represent that you have the right to grant this license and that your content does not infringe others’ rights. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

You may request permanent deletion from Account → Safety. We will confirm and process the request. Some records may be retained where required for safety, legal claims, fraud prevention, or law.

We may suspend or terminate access immediately for violations, risk to others, non-payment (when ticketing applies), or extended inactivity. Termination does not limit rights we already have in these Terms.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Live video depends on your device, network, and third-party providers (including authentication, hosting, and video infrastructure). We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure operation.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Spark disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Spark and its officers, hosts, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from the Service or from interactions with other users.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid Spark for the relevant event in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) THB 2,000. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits; in that case the limit applies to the maximum extent permitted.

You will indemnify Spark against claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your content, your conduct, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Bangkok, Thailand have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any forum to protect users or the Service.

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms. If a change is material, we will try to notice you in-product or by email when practical.

If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement for the Service.
