FAQ
Events, video dates, matches, and invites — before your first Spark night.
Is Spark free?
Creating an account is free. Spark nights will be ticketed when open sales launch. Right now events are invite-only while we onboard guests carefully.
How do I get into an event?
Create a profile, then wait for an invite or ask us at sparkdating.th@gmail.com. Hosts add confirmed guests — self-serve ticket checkout isn’t live yet.
What am I signing up for?
Admission to a scheduled live event. At the event time you join through Spark, enter a lounge, and take part in multiple short private video dates with automatic rotations. Profiles and matches exist to support that night — they’re not an always-on dating feed.
Where are events held?
Online, through the Spark website. We’re starting with Bangkok-oriented events for singles in Thailand. You attend from wherever you are — laptop or phone with a camera and mic.
Who will I meet?
Other guests for that event who fit the night’s age range and format. Pairings are designed for compatible matches within the event.
How long is each date?
About 3 minutes per round. When the timer ends, Spark rotates everyone to their next date for a set number of rounds, with brief lounge breaks in between.
What if a few minutes isn’t enough?
If you’re both interested, you’ll become a mutual match after the event and can keep talking. The timer only structures first meetings during the night — not what comes after.
Does the other person know if I’m not interested?
Never. Interest is private. They only find out you were interested if they were interested too — that’s when it becomes a match.
What do I need to join an event?
A browser, camera, and microphone — phone or laptop. Join a few minutes early so you can check your setup before rounds start.
What if I miss the event?
Invites are for a specific date and time. If you can’t make it, email sparkdating.th@gmail.com as early as you can so we can help.
What happens if someone behaves badly?
Report them during the date via Having an issue?, or from chat after a match. After you log in, Account → Safety has guidelines and a report form. Reports are reviewed, and people who make others feel unsafe don’t come back.
